Ozenfant, Ozenfant is a new, critically acclaimed novel by one of contemporary Norwegian literature’s most original young voices. The novel is based on Rocambole Pedersen’s novel Den forsvundne pølsemaker [The vanished sausage-maker]from 1919. Here a man scratches messages on the same skin that holds him captive. He wants to tell his story, one last time, before the sticky mass takes over his body. At the same time, Ambrosius Fjord, dressed only in black garbage bags, minutely examines the shady sides of the capital in his search for Ozenfant. In the heart of the metropolis, dark forces conspire and plan the great coup.

With consummate ease, Lars Mørch Finborud mixes surrealism and pop-culture references with the high suspense and drive of the detective novel. What we end up with, is a completely crazy and highly original novel.
