"A great song that celebrates and values life grows forth from this book”
Espen Stueland, Klassekampen
Price: 249,-

Minimum is a bold and uniquely conceived and composed book. Far from being a traditional book of poetry, one might rather say that it consists of a series of poetic variations on some central motifs. The fragility and vulnerability of human life. How close to minimum one can get and yet survive. These motifs are played out in relation to individuals as well as society as a whole. The texts address grave illness, risk zones, the great catastrophes, tsunami, earth quakes. Other motifs weave in and out of the poems, personal, mystic, historic. And while life is portrayed as endangered and fragile, it is also strong, there is salvation to be had, albeit on a minimum level.

Terningkast6

"This is a different, freer and more intense way to tell stories than much of what you find in the prosaic walks of first person literature. And it should have won Anne Bø a nomination for the Nordic Council’s Literature Prize.”
Arne Hugo Stølan, VG
